Bobbed Deuce 1970 General M35a2

Have a bobbed 1970 general m35a2 winch truck. Clean GA title. 14k takes it. I was going to list it for 15k but it needs a little love and some painting so I took 1k off , the paint I have will go with the truck. Pros ..Multifuel turbo diesel , 1090.0 miles , runs great. Has air locking transfer case , works great, just went through brakes , new wheel cylinder on drivers front wheel, new seals , pressure bled and adjusted, new driveshaft, 46 inch tires about 90 % MRAP steel wheels , new valve stems and o rings. New batteries , air ride seat frames , tan soft top , new glass in doors and windshield frames , led light convertion, tow hitch with bumperettes. M 105 bed mounted on vulcanized rubber pucks, all hardware used grade 8, winch works , black out lighting works. Both door glass regulators just gone through and work smooth. Cons Needs to be painted , I have 2 gallon of Behr paint in tan semi gloss , haven’t got a break in the weather to get it done. Needs cab weatherstripping kit. About 250.00 full cab kit.Has a little play in steering box, I haven’t got into that part but I think it is just the bushings, about 85.00 for the rebuild kit. Not all interior light bulbs work. Blinkers don’t work. I think that’s about it , take a look asked any questions , it is listed locally as well so I will reserve the right to pull this at any time. Buyer is responsible for pick up and shipping. No returns offered. Cash, cashiers check , pay pal accepted, truck will not be released until payment is clear. I can hold truck here for about a week after sale if that helps buyer arrange pick up. Thanks for looking

M35a2 Deuce And A Half Machine Gun Military Truck Army Original 6×6 Am General

*Plated and insured this summer. Clear title* Are you looking for the ultimate M35A2? Lt. Dan is your truck. This is a 1971 M35A2 with history. It last served in the 1st Battalion, 144th Field Artillery Service Battery (WPCESO) in Burbank, CA. Aside from the machine gun, it was never demilitarized. After being sold as surplus (painted desert tan), it was purchased by the curator of the Uncle Phil Maloof automotive museum, based in Las Vegas, NV. It was used as a rolling display at fundraising events and reenactments. After spending years searching for my bucket list Deuce, I ended up purchasing this while on vacation and had it transported 1,800 miles to Indiana by semi. -non-whistler turbo-M66 gun ring w/ cab reinforcement-movie prop 50 cal machine gun-Intercom system to speak between driver/gunner-factory winch-multifuel preheater -heater-troop seating-driver suspension seat-air-engaged transfercase-12V inverter behind the passenger seat-many extra tires and rims in various condition Throughout my ownership, Lt. Dan has been stored inside and only run on diesel fuel. The engine fires by just a breath on the starter button. It steers nice and tracks well. The air assisted brake system holds great pressure for a long time, as the buzzer won’t come on unless it sits for over a week. The horn doesn’t work and the rear canopy door is torn. I haven’t messed with the heater or intercom system. I’ve driven the truck on regular 1 hr trips each way without flaw. Of course you’ll need to plan an extra 15 minutes each trip to talk about the Deuce; everyone from teenagers to elders love it. It has been an honor to own this truck. To see a walk around video, go to YouTube and search “My Souvenirs From Las Vegas – M35A2″ Since this video I have sold the trailer & changed the tires as seen in these pictures.

M35a2 (m36a2)

Selling my deuce and a half! 6×6 six wheel drive multifuel! 2.5 ton hauling capacity off road over all terrain and 5 ton hauling capacity on highway. Clean no rust! Everything works as it should. My family is moving and we need to downsize. In the 1970′s the Air Force’s Developmental Sciences Corp. used this truck as a retrieval vehicle for the first U.A.V’s in testing, the Air Force added the 3,500lb crain for help with loading and unloading of the aircraft. Its a pretty cool piece of history and a unique story behind the truck. Multifuel engine but I run diesel in it, but it will run on wast motor oil, kerosene, vegetable oil, gasoline with some oil added, ect. The tail gate drops as well as the sides of the bed on the passenger side for easy loading with fork lift. Michelin 395/85r20 XZL tires with 90% tread. Slow!!! 55mph cruising 57mph down hill, but it will go just about anywhere. Try a YouTube search for steelsoldiers rally or m35 off-road to see some of its capabilities. No trades!
