Up for sale is a fresh completely rebuilt 1971 AM General M35A2 cargo truck. We are the premier custom builder of the crew cab conversion of these type of trucks, I have done several. The 4 door truck was never offered by the military, so we custom build them so you can haul your family or 6 of your buddys around with plenty of room. if you want something to stand out this is it. These make good advertisements for business, this is the thing to have if you want noticed. The truck started as a clean 6×6 truck I picked up from Texas. I have several 2.5 tons in stock, I always use the best trucks for these builds. There must be absolutly no rust for me to do one. The truck was stripped down to the frame. All parts get sandblasted, primed and painted. I used a clean rust free donor cab for the back cab, and a clean rust free 9′ M105 bed. This is all sitting on a full length set of 6×6 frame rails. Almost every part on this truck is new and/or rebuilt, here is a list of some of the items. New factory militray coolant cab heater installed inside cab for better heating. All gauges are new, along with steering wheel, data plates, etc… All new glass and frames for all windows front, rear and side doors. All new rubber for windows, channels, felt, etc.. All new door latches, handles, window regulators, wiper motors, arms, etc… New custom intake snorkel There is many other items not listed, like all the fasteners are new, and all the other things that take to long to list. This truck was built in 1971 and overhualed in 1985 By the government, then it was rebuilt by C&C equipment in 2012. As you can see I do not cut corners on a truck like this, This is by far the nicest crew cab out there and proably the nicest M35A2 around in any form. I stock all the parts for these type of trucks. Everything you see on this truck I sell here on ebay. We pay attention to the details and try to make everything look like a factory built unit. The body on this truck is perfect and has over 8 gallions of paint on it. The 6″ lift springs and 53″ tall tires give it that killer stance that grabs attention. If you want to be seen this is the truck for you. The whistler turbo sounds great and it will anounce its presence if they don’t see it. The truck starts and runs great and has no leaks. It drives fine down the road for a big truck, just don’t expect it to ride and handle like a caddy. The power steering takes the work out of turning the steering wheel. You can turn the wheel with one finger stopped in place. This truck has the updated 2 speed air shift transfer case in it also. The stock cabs in these trucks did not have much room for a big driver. Now there is plenty of room in the front and back for the biggest and tallest of drivers. If you want the biggest and baddest truck on the block this is it. Up for sale is a custom made in house full complete power steering kit to fit any 2.5 ton M35 series truck with the multi fuel engine like M35A2, M109A3 etc… All parts are brand name most USA made and all steel brackets are cut on our own CNC plasma table. All steel parts will be painted in the 383 green to match most trucks. This is a bolt on kit, no welding required. Cutting of the stock steering shaft is required, and drilling a few holes, and basic hand tools will get the job done. Items will come sub assemblies so it will take the headaches out of the install. This is about a 3-5 hour install. Comes with instructions and measurements to install. Kit includes all new parts like: Power steering pump and pulley New power steering belt Power steering cooler. Pump mount Steering valve Pressure relief valve Steering valve mount U joints Steering shaft column holder Bearings and seal for steering shaft All bolts, nuts and hardware. Fluid resivor with internal filter. All nessary hoses and fittings. New horn button switch for dash mount. Some option you may want to get: New smaller 18″ steering wheel. Up for sale is one of the Hero deuces that was used in the block buster movie “The Avengers”. This is a 1967 M35A2 deuce and a half with a LDT4651D Turbo multi fuel engine, 5 speed overdrive transmission, 2 speed Hi/Lo air shift transfer case. 39000 miles on the odometer, hard top, cab heater, rust free, all 10 matching tires are 80% or better. Truck was completely checked out, serviced, new tires, new batteries before it was sent to New Mexico for the film shoot last spring. Up for sale is a newly painted, very good running and driving Multi Fuel 1967 Kaiser Jeep M35A2 with winch. Truck was sandblasted, and painted with black rust inhibitive enamel paint. Either you can leave it black, or paint it whatever color you want. This truck has no mechanical problems whatsoever. Everything works on it exactly as it should with the exception of the air lines going to the glad hands on the back of the truck as mentioned below. The winch works great, the transmission and transfer case shift fine, and it runs and drives great. It is currently registered commercial here in California, and the registration is paid through October 2012. You could easily register it as a historical vehicle in California, and pay much less for registration. In California, this truck does require a class B commercial drivers license to drive. Other states are different, but in California, because it has 3 axles and is as heavy as it is, it does require at least a class B. Truck is located in Quincy California which is on the north eastern side of the state about an hour and a half drive west of Reno Nevada. Truck has had a muffler and 5 inch chrome stack installed, because it is very loud without the muffler. But if you don’t want the muffler on there, I still have the old stack that I took off, and that can go with the truck if you want to figure out a way to put it back on there. Truck is being sold as is, and where is, but there is a chance that if you live within 200 miles or so of me that I could possibly haul the truck to you for $2.00 per mile. This truck is in great condition, but keep in mind, that it is an old military truck, and is not in perfect condition, nor is it immune to future mechanical issues. But I do my best to make sure they are in good shape! It has good tires and brakes all the way around. Please don’t be afraid to bid on this truck! It’s a nice one, and gets lots of attention everywhere it goes! Please don’t bid if you do not have the means to pay for this truck and get it fairly quickly. Trucks odometer is showing 28,747 miles, and 1,694 hours. A 2 inch receiver hitch has been installed below the pintle hitch as seen in the pictures. But the trailer light plug has not been wired up yet. The air lines going to the gladhands at the back of the truck are not connected to the gladhands at the moment because they got in the way of the receiver hitch installation and got damaged in the process. Should be a fairly easy fix. A keyed ignition switch has been installed in place of the push starter button and the on off switch. As seen in the pictures, this truck has an aftermarket aluminum radiator installed. The old stock radiator went bad, and I did not feel like spending the money for a new deuce radiator, so I put in an aftermarket aluminum one from Summit racing that seems to work really good. Because the radiator is now lower than the highest water passages in the engine, I had to install a remote coolant reservoir up high on the firewall as can be seen in the pictures. Truck has the C or whistler turbo on it that sounds really cool. It is quieted down a lot with the muffler, but you can still hear it. As seen in the pictures, truck comes with a new desert tan soft top. The Quad seen in one of the pictures does NOT come with the truck:-) Sorry, I do not have the side rack/troop seats for this truck. They did not come with it when I bought it. I have the California title to this truck, free and clear, in my hand, ready to be signed over to the buyer. All lights work good, including the backup flood lights seen in the pictures that are switched by a switch on the dash. Note, the stars will come on the truck, but the numbers on the front, rear and sides are my actual California commercial CA numbers which I am actually required by law to remove from the vehicle before I sell it. They are just vinyl lettering. So the numbers will not be there. In a couple of the pictures, it shows the old smaller straight stack. Just pretend you see the 5 inch chrome stack in it’s place when looking at those pictures. The passenger side window sustained some accidental sandblasting damage, and will probably need to be replaced at some point so it will be clear again. I just hadn’t got around to doing that yet. Both of the mirrors have been replaced with brand new ones. The passenger side windshield glass has one crack down low, but the drivers side windshield glass in not cracked at all and is in good condition. Yes this truck has the Multi fuel engine that is capable of burning just about anything flammable within reason. Right on the dash is a factory data plate that lists the Authorized fuels, and Gasoline and Diesel are two of them. Lots of guys burn used motor oil, and vegetable oil in these things.
